#STOPTHEDENIAL

#StopTheDenial was a graphic collaboration with fellow designer Philip Glenn, to draw attention to issues of climate change and rising sea levels in a concrete and tangible way.
This installation brings the hypothetical notions of what climate change means for our futures into the living space of the street, forcing the viewer to imagine a dramatically different future landscape, in which their community spaces would be underwater. (The projected sea level line was determined approximately using scientific projections for the area.)

We used humorously over-aggressive language to catch the eye of passersby and underscore the commonly held frustration that we aren't doing enough to save our cities and our planet.
